  2. Download the Atomic Structure 1 Anki deck here, and open it in Anki.
  3. In Preferences, change to use the "V2 experimental scheduler".
  4. Study the deck using your keyboard shortcuts.

Drawing Histograms with Google Sheets

The spreadsheet with pendulum swing data from your class is here. Make a Copy.

Insert a new column, and in this Column D, calculate the average time it requires to make one swing.

Decide if you want to plot one histogram with both 0.25 m and 0.5 m length, or two separate ones.

Plot the histogram(s) using column D.

Adjust the bin sizes and horizontal scale. Use good taste and judgment.

Uncertainty, Absolute & Relative

Convert the absolute uncertainties into relative uncertainties.

100 ± 20

The relative (percent) uncertainty is 100 ± ___%

Go back to look at the durations for the pendulum swings. How should we report the time it takes for the 0.25 m pendulum to swing? How did you come up with the interval? What could be some reasons that the pendulum didn't all took the same time to swing?

# Homework

Structure your daily routine so that there is always a time in the day that you study your Anki decks. This won't work on the first attempt. Aim to improve iteratively.

There are opportunities to show your diligent Anki'ing in the future.
